ABOUT KELSEA
Dog Walker, Dog Mom, and Overall Dog Enthusiast
Since I was a young child I have always loved working with animals and have found solace in the presence of animals. At eleven years old, I started walking my neighbours dogs to help pay for horseback riding lessons. Since that time I have worked on horse farms, completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration at Georgian College, completed my Honours BBA at Laurentian University, worked for several large corporations, and found my way back to the dogs!

I truly believe everything happens for a reason, so after having 2 jaw surgeries and not being able to (or really wanting to) return to my old job, I decided to go back to working with animals and started my own business dog walking. Shortly after I had a couple friends getting married that wanted to include their dogs at their wedding, but didn't know how to make this happen; and my pet wedding chaperone services were born.

I have several years of experience handling multiple dogs at once (my dog walking packs are typically 6-8 dogs at a time), and even working with dogs on film and photo sets. I am comfortable and confident handling all breeds and sizes, and take a special liking to handling reactive and anxious dogs and working with them to gain their trust and affection.

I am certified in K9 First Aid and CPR, have won Barrie's Best Dog Walker 2023 and 2024, and always expanding my knowledge about various training methods and animal behaviour. I am passionate about animals and animal welfare and strongly believe that your pets should always be treated as part of the family, and that is how I always vow to treat them while they are in my care.
