Why Should You Hire a Pet Wedding Chaperone?

Because as a professional pet wedding chaperone my only priority on your big day is making sure your dog(s) are taken care of. From basics like providing exercise and potty breaks, to providing mental stimulation or quiet safe spaces for them to decompress, Royal Paws Pet Services handles it all.

What does a Pet Wedding Chaperone Do?

Not only do I work with your dog(s) but I also coordinate with your photographer to ensure we get photos where your pet is looking. This is something I am especially skilled with, having worked with dogs on photo and film sets - and daily pack walk photos. I will also work with your wedding party to make sure they are comfortable walking the dog down the aisle or know where I will be to hand the dog off during the ceremony if needed. I work with your wedding planner and coordinator to make sure your dog is everywhere they need to be on the big day and that they arrive on schedule.

Your dog is attended to the ENTIRE day. From the moment I pick them up to the moment I drop them off, I am with them and providing constant care. They are not left in crates or hotel rooms alone in between photos and the ceremony. They are with me and attended to until they are returned home that night (or the next morning if you select overnight care), or to a boarding facility.

Why Royal Paws Pet Services?

I am comfortable and confident handling dogs of all sizes and handling dogs with reactivity and behavioural issues. A meet and greet is always done before your wedding (either virtual or in person) to get to know about you and most importantly your dog. It will also allow for you to share your expectations for your wedding day and how you want your dog(s) to be included.

I will always arrive early to the venue with the dog(s) so that there is time for them to sniff and familiarize themselves with the environment beforehand. I also come fully prepared with a kit including  things like wipes, lint brushes, water, dog brushes, squeakers and all the key essentials.

This is the quality of service you get hiring an award winning professional, that won’t be provided by having a guest handle your dog at the wedding. Ultimately the goal is to make sure your day runs as smoothly as possible, and that your dog is comfortable and cared for entirely throughout the day.
